MATERIAL AND FUNCTION

Material is part of a component’s function.

We review the material grade alongside geometry, functional requirements and the manufacturing process. Availability and machinability are assessed for each project. Material changes are agreed with the customer before manufacture.

STEEL

Steel grade and machinability are confirmed after reviewing the documentation and required strength and resistance of the component.

ALUMINIUM

An option for components requiring low weight, good machinability and a high-quality surface finish.

OTHER MATERIALS

Special materials are considered project by project. Machinability, component requirements and availability are checked before confirming an order.
